Nepali superstition

The Nepali woman at my new job walked up to me all happy to be hiccuping today ... I told her to drink water in straights and she said "no , when I hiccup it mean someone dear is thinking of me, this is Nepal".

I've heard that in some parts of the world, people believe someone thinks of them when they are sneezing out of the blue and such, but to actually endure hiccuping for hours for the warm feeling it brings seems .. *ehem* *ehem* *wink wink*.

'when your mother, father think of you at home what happen here ?" She inquired .. "well duh ! They call"
(And then you hiccup :P )

sukleen - our goal is cleanliness

Although most ads in this country suck, some people still manage to produce a fun/y interesting one... others produce ads you look forward to, Sukleen being one...

I've decided to blog a few ads of interest (some horrible ones as well I suppose.... let's see how it all goes).

First of a bunch .. this one by Sukleen says "our goal is cleanliness" and features a footballer kicking a trash-ball.

vectorized , added signature and color in Inkscape...

I'm not very happy with the way it turned out.Perhaps its time for a decent printer scanner? The lines on the non digital version are cleaner. I've recently been several new signatures(without making an effort :P) ...

Recently been discussing the abusive nature of man ... in self and others - with friends.

Despite the fact that thinking ahead greatly reduces this issue.. at a lower level, up to the subconscious if you pay close attention ...The tendency of the mind converges towards abusing any little slack given.

Of course id wise... what do we want besides sleeping, eating and getting laid?
(and since its invention - watching TV while eating nachos.. oh wait thats redundant with sleeping/eating)
